Rob received his B.A. from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After receiving an academic scholarship, Rob continued his education at Baylor University School of Law where he was Editor of the Baylor Law Review, a member of the Order of the Barristers and a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. He received his J.D. with Honors in 1988 and was selected to serve as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas Supreme Court. In 1989, Rob began his private practice with the Vinson & Elkins law firm. Five years later, Rob developed his plaintiff personal injury practice and began representing consumers in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Ammons has represented clients in the prosecution of serious injury cases, such as burns, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death suits against automobile and tire manufacturers, chemical plants and other corporate entities. He has taken on and successfully resolved significant cases regarding SUV rollovers, tire defects and air bag defects against Michelin, Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., Continental Tire, General Motors, Ford, DamilerChrysler, Honda, Toyota, Isuzu, Hyundai, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Bridgestone/Firestone, Kumho Tire, Takata, Exxon, Phillips 66, British Petroleum, Yellow Freight and many other corporate defendants.

Bennett was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Harvard University where he graduated in 1982, with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, before going on to Tulane Law School. He graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctorate from Tulane in 1985.
In law school, Bennett was selected for and served on Tulane’s Moot Court Board. After graduating, Bennett began his private practice with the Vinson & Elkins law firm. There, he worked on cases involving antitrust litigation, professional liability litigation and general commercial litigation, gaining trial and appellate expertise in state and federal courts.
Bennett focused between 1995 and 2005 on personal injurylitigation from both the plaintiff and defense side. Bennett’s practice now focuses on plaintiff personal injury product liability cases involving catastrophic injury.
Bennett is married to the former Marcy Spira of Houston, Texas. Bennett and Marcy have two children, Michelle and Charles.
April was born in Beaumont, Texas and received her B.A. from the University of Houston. She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she worked as a manager for a focus group facility, which conducted focus groups for national and international businesses. She also worked for a jury consulting firm as an assistant trial director, attending mock trials across the country and assisting with jury research. After a year in the northeast, April returned to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law.
While at South Texas, April participated in moot court and mock trial competitions, earning several advocacy awards. She also served as the Managing Editor of the Construction Law Journal and as a member of the South Texas Law Review. During her second year, she co-authored a law review article on foreign legal consultants, and her student comment received the Alumni Association Award for Best Law Review Article. April worked as an intern for United States District Judge David Hittner, Judge Tim Taft of the First Court of Appeals of Texas, and the United States Attorney's Office while in law school. And during her final year, April worked as a law clerk for The Ammons Law Firm.
After graduation, April served as the Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Michael Keasler on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Texas's highest criminal court. Following her clerkship, she joined the firm as an associate.
Sydney was raised in Pasadena, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 2004 from Stephen F. Austin State University. After graduating from college, Sydney worked for Houston's Mayor Bill White as an executive communications specialist and special projects manager. Her experience with Mayor White included housing victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita and providing emergency services and supplies to seniors during the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. Sydney also managed energy and sustainability projects, delivering programs to low-income families across Houston.
While working full-time, Sydney earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. She is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and eligible to practice in all Texas courts and the United States District Court for the Western District.
Since graduating from law school, Sydney has worked on personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, trucking collisions and premises liability. She has also handled estate probates including estates with and without wills. Sydney's practice focuses on products liability cases and she represents various clients, which include seriously injured people and families who have lost one or more loved ones due to the negligence of another person and/or company. Sydney has first chair jury trial experience.

John grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in English. John then attended Southern Methodist University, where he graduated in 1992 as a member of Phi Delta Phi. John began his law practice defending companies in personal injury cases and commercial disputes. In 1997, John changed his law practice so that he could represent victims and families in catastrophic injury lawsuits and complex commercial litigation. John has represented clients all across the country, including Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Mississippi, Nevada, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and throughout Texas. John has focused his practice on litigation concerning defective products (such as automobiles, consumer electronics, and commercial products), general negligence involving catastrophic injuries (including burn injuries, brain injuries and wrongful death), commercial disputes (including construction litigation and insurance claims), and qui tam litigation. John's non-litigation experience includes negotiation of demolition contracts for a 30-story tower and, later, its foundation; the negotiations culminated in the world record for the largest demolition of a concrete structure.
